Every print ordered off of Goldenwolfen.com is personally signed in gold pen by the artist. All printing and matting from this website is done by the artist herself.

Print Specs

Regular Prints - Printed on 8 1/2 X 11 Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte. These are 'open run' prints, meaning that they are only signed and are unlimited in quantity. Due to the dimensions of the image, the image may not take up all of the paper, but it will always fit the widest dimension of the printable surface.

Large Limited Edition Prints - Printed on 11 X 17 Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Paper Matte. These are 'limited edition' prints that are signed and numbered. The number of the run signifies how many of those prints will be made (a run of 200 or 500, for example), thus the print is of limited quantity and therefore more valuable. Once the run is out, I will no longer make any more of those large prints. Due to the dimensions of the image, the image may not take up all of the paper, but it will always fit the widest dimension of the printable surface. I usually will trim off any excess "white" paper for easier framing.

Regular Matted Prints - Same as the 'Regular Prints', but these are matted with Crescent Mat Board (mat board is a type of pressed paper board that comes in many colors) and backed with foam board, ready for framing. When possible, I try to mat these prints in standard frame sizes, mostly 12" X 16". Smaller or odd-sized prints will be of other dimensions (10" X 16", 7" X 14", or 7" X 12") which are non-standard sizes. All matted pieces are protected by a clear bag with a sealable flap.

Large Limited Edition Matted Prints - Same as the 'Large Limited Edition Prints', but these are matted with Crescent Mat Board and backed with foam board, ready for framing. When possible, I try to mat these prints in standard frame sizes, mostly 16 " X 20 ". Larger or odd-sized prints will be of other dimensions (22" X 14" or 22" X 11") which are non-standard sizes. All matted pieces are protected by a clear bag with a sealable flap.

About Mats

Mat board is a kind of pressed paper or card board that comes in many colors that is cut to the dimensions of the print, making a kind of border around the image which presents it well (see a picture of matted prints here). Many colors of mat board are available, and I select the colors that best compliment the print in my opinion. You may request specific mat colors for your matted prints, however I cannot guarantee I will have that color in stock. If you request a certain color and I do not currently have it, I will let you know what I -do- have and give you the option to either wait, or choose another color. The prints I offer are matted with a single mat color, though I will do double mats when I am framing them myself. You can always take your matted print to a framer and have them do double, triple, or even quadruple mat it to make a great presentation.

Thse matted prints are backed with a thin foam board that is lightweight and sturdy and acid free, however this does add to the overall thickness of the piece. When selecting a frame, please wait until you have the print in hand so you'll know if it will fit the frame or not.

All matted prints are sealed in a protective Clear Bag. These bags are meant for protection only as they do get scuffed or torn rather easily. I highly recommend that once you get your print that you remove the clear bag and have the print framed under glass or plexiglass for the best protection and presentation.

Framing

Due to the expense, I usually only offer framed prints for sale at our (Wolfsisters) booth at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, and a few other selected shows. As stated above, I do mat my prints in standard (12 X 16, 16 X 20) frame sizes -when possible- for easy framing. Please note that unmatted prints do not frame well themselves!!! So if you ordered a $15 regular print (which is printed on 8 1/2 X 11 paper), and put it in an 8 1/2 X 11 frame, there would be white paper areas showing, sometimes large ones. It just doesn't look good. If your intent is to frame the print, please do order an already matted print, or be prepared to have a framing shop do it for you (or yourself, if you know how). I DO NOT recommend framing the 'loose' prints by themselves simply because, due to the dimensions of the image, it -never- measures the exact dimensions of the paper. There will always be white border areas, and that just looks bad in a frame.

To order through the shopping cart, browse through the "Artwork" galleries and click on the "Add To Cart" button next to the type of print of that image that you want. It will take you to view your Shopping Cart page. From there, you can checkout, or you can continue shopping. For matted prints, if you have a specific color you would like, please specifiy that in your order. Otherwise, I will choose for you. Shopping cart provided by Mal's E-Commerce. Shipping

Shipping in the shopping cart is pro-rated per the table below, meaning it is not automatically added to your total!

Please allow 2 -6 weeks shipping time for all orders. If you need your order right away, please let me know! This is because I make many of my own products by hand and I do a lot of shows all over the country (which means I am not home a lot). I will ship your order as soon as I am able to, so please be patient! If you cannot wait for an item, please let me know and we will work something out.

I generally ship all of my orders through the U.S. Postal Service. All orders are sent via Priority Mail for safe delivery, with Delivery Confirmation. I also ship internationally. If you would like your order shipped some other way, please contact me at orders@goldenwolfen.com. Shipping is pro-rated, meaning it will be added to your order after you submit it per the tables below. Be sure to use this chart to add shipping to PayPal orders as well.

Returns

If your print(s) arrives damaged, or you are unhappy with the product, I will happily replace the product or give you a credit in the store for another item. Sorry, I do not give cash or credit card refunds. If you would like to return an item, please e-mail orders@goldenwolfen.com for more info.
